Shantell Ogden is a Nashville-based artist/songwriter joins us on the podcast to talk about her new album One Step Closer: Songs to Recover By,  an acoustic album with songs about the journey of addiction recovery. The nine-song album was fully fan-funded and was recently released. Most families have experienced drug and alcohol addiction including Shantell's. 

During the show we talk about the pandemic and shedding a light on the struggles of addiction through music. She has donated hundreds of albums to recovery programs across the U.S. so far and is planning a tour for later this fall to share the music live.
