Dr James Gilfoil

I am thrilled to be sharing my conversation with my friend Dr. Jim Gilfoil.

Dr. Gilfoil is a psychiatrist in Private Practice in Bryn Mawr.

He got his undergraduate degree at LSU—Go Tigers—his medical degree from Vanderbilt, and my psychiatric training at the University of Pennsylvania.  

He practiced at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital before moving my practice to Bryn Mawr, where I’m on the staff of Bryn Mawr Hospital.  

He is also the head of the Physicians’ Health Committee for Main Line Health.  And, a Distinguished Life Fellow for both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association for Adolescent Psychiatry.
