Timmy Brooks has a story like many alcoholics, but he is an example of how recovery can happen if you have willingness.
Willingness is what carried Timmy through a tumultuous time. Timmy was raised in a loving home, in a community that embraced him and his athletic talents. Kids wanted to emulate Timmy and his life changed in an instant when his secret life was revealed. He was no longer playing sports, but he was supplying drugs to his former classmates and members of his community.
Timmy’s story was the front-page story in his town, he was on the local news and national news.
Instead of staying in his disease he walked the walk! He worked hard emotionally and physically and today his mission is to help other men fight their battles with addiction. Today he is the Operator of Synergy Homes based in West Chester, PA.
