Episode 234- Dr. Hal Bradley

Dr. Bradley the first former drug lord that I have had on the show. Dr. Hal Bradley is a pastor with a PhD in pastoral counseling and a passion for helping the homeless and those in distress.  Before becoming a pastor while in prison and focusing on helping underprivileged people, he was a drug lord, and at one time the largest cocaine trafficker in the Pacific Northwest. He served five years in Leavenworth federal prison and then worked as a contractor for the Department of Justice, where he helped to capture the drug kingpins.  He now lives a quiet life and had a small country church of about 60 to 70 congregants every Sunday.  He has been working with the homeless, the afflicted, and people with broken souls with the hospice ministry—all of it at the same time—over the past 17 years.

His story is fascinating, what I found so interesting is his work with the homeless and his philosophy about love and judgement.

His story is captivating that he wrote a book, Crisis Victory is a powerful story of a drug lord who advanced from sinner to saint on a difficult journey to redemption. Through the pages, the reader will understand Dr. Hal Bradley’s past life as an international drug smuggler and how he became a savior to the homeless, helpless and faithless. They’ll experience his struggle on every page while gaining tools and inspiration to strength and overcome their own obstacles. Dr. Bradley shares how he and others have been lured into a life of crime and sin. Not sparing any details, he dives into the pain and fear he suffered when his children were threatened, and he was kidnapped by the Mexican Federales in 1993 – a life-altering experience that compelled Dr. Bradley to turn himself in to the authorities.
