Fizzy Pear Ginger Punch

Recipe
For Ginger Syrup:
1 1.5 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into thirds
1 cup water
1/2  cup sugar

Pour in a pitcher
4 cups chilled pear juice
1/2  cup ginger syrup
1/8 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger

1 bottle of favorite sparkling water
 
crushed ice 

candied ginger, for garnish

Make the syrup first put first three ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes and let cool 

Then mix pear juice, ginger syrup, lemon juice and ground ginger in a pitcher

Mix equal amounts of the juice mixer with your favorite sparkling beverage over ice and enjoy 

makes 4 servings
